Chorus

Morris School offers 2 chorus activities hosted by Mrs. Pollard, Morris School Music Teacher:
the Junior Chorus (grades 2-3) and the Senior Chorus (grades 4-5).

Each meets once a week before school.

Band

Students may begin learning a concert band instrument in fourth grade. Group lessons meet 30 minutes once a week during the school day. Students may choose from flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone or percussion. An instrument rental program is available for families who prefer to rent rather than purchase an instrument outright. Students returning to Morris in fifth grade may continue to take lessons and play in the Morris Concert Band. The band performs at two concerts during the school year.
